In-Cabin United Pet Policy
Be sure to adhere to the rules and regulations when you are boarding your pet.
Pets Allowed
Small animals are the only ones permitted only on United or United Express travel. United Airlines pet shipping includes domestic cats and dogs. The animals are permitted to travel with you on every flight in the Continental United States (not including Hawaii).
Route Restrictions
There are many limitations on routes, too. For instance, the only animals that can be serviced are allowed to be carried in the cabin when the flight is heading towards or towards the United Kingdom. Carrier/Crate Requirements
Before your pet is permitted to travel along with you needs to first have been approved by United Airlines’ pet policy. The pet must be carried in a pet carrier that’s been accepted. Temperature

In addition, you’ll require all the necessary documents from the destination country and evidence that your pet was vaccinated for rabies at least 30 days prior to travel.
Carrier/Crate Requirements
United Airlines has a limited policy on carriers and crates. They’ll allow only 2 puppies or kittens (under six months) to travel in the same car as long as they satisfy these two conditions:
- They’re of the same species.
- There is plenty of space
If these conditions aren’t met Only one pet will be permitted to travel in a carrier. Take note to note that United Airlines will not transport kennels of the 700 Series on the 737 700/800 or 900 aircraft. Cost
The price can vary between animals. The price is based on the total amount of weight the animal as well as that of the dog kennel.
