Pickering Casino Resorts Clocks C$6M Revenue In Q1

Over the past week, the Ontario Lottery and gaming company has transferred its quarterly game allocation to the casino host community. 릴게임사이트 Pickering City hosted Pickering Casino Resort, valued at just over C$6 million. A total of 29 host communities received C$43,534,007 during the first quarter of 2023-2024, according to OLG.

Local government donation agreements signed more than two decades ago allow crown companies to share some of their gambling profits with the community hosting casinos. The community allocation you host is determined by a formula that applies to all of Ontario’s game locations through a step-by-step measure of game revenue in each property.

From April 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023, or during the first quarter of 2023-2024, Pickering City collected payments worth CA$6,126,075 to host Pickering Casino Resort. The casino has already donated more than C$30 million in non-tax gambling revenue to the city’s vaults, despite barely starting in July 2021. Thus funding important projects in the community.

Not long ago, Pickering-Uxbridge MPP Peter Bethlenfaly said that the hosting communities support critical community programs and services and strengthen local infrastructure through these game allocations. He added that these allocations help finance important programs and services that residents can rely on in the future. Since 1994, communities have received more than $2 billion in revenue.

In March 2023, the city agreed to share some of its casino revenue with the Durham area. Pickering Mayor Kevin Ash said the city is taking active steps to build a stronger and fairer community for all by sharing casino allocations. Durham is expected to use some of the money to fund social housing projects.

The contract dates back to January 1, 2023, and Pickering will maintain its first CA$10 million revenue from OLG and then balance with Durham. There is an annual cap of CA$80 million. The city is estimated to receive approximately CA$16 million per year from casinos, meaning CA$30 million per year in the region.

As a relatively new gambling resort, Pickering Casino Resort began operations in July 2021, but the hotel opened operations in January this year. Pickering Casino Resort Hotel boasts 275 rooms ranging from 388 square feet to 775 square feet. It also has 33 luxurious and spacious suites with separate living spaces and 22 accessible rooms with thoughtful and convenient adjustments.

Each room and suite has a residential atmosphere, a variety of conveniences, a nice view of a city or lake, free Wi-Fi, refrigerators, safes, 55-inch smart TVs, and free parking. The operator has introduced special offers until January 31, 2023, to allow members of Great Canada Rewards to receive special discounts.
