Fantastic Putt’P Kim Hyo Joo Looks To Win Two Majors

World No. 8 Kim Hyo-joo 27 cooked Pebble Beach’s green, setting the stage for the first major championship in about nine years. 토토사이트링크 In the first round of the 78th U.S. Women’s Open Total prize money of $11 million for the third time of the LPGA Tour season at Pebble Beach Golf Links  in California on the 7th, Kim Hyo-joo shot a 4-under 68. It is a one-shot lead with Lin Xiyue of China, who tied for third place after competing for the championship at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, a major tournament two weeks ago.

Kim Hyo-joo, who competed in three LPGA Tour tournaments last month and finished second and fifth, took the opportunity to challenge her sixth career victory on the tour in a year and three months after winning the Lotte Championship in April last year. In terms of major tournaments, it is the first time in eight years and 10 months. Kim Hyo-joo recorded her only major victory in her career at the 2014 Evian Championship while playing on the KLPGA Tour.

Kim Hyo-joo, who ranked first in the LPGA Tour’s average batting average (69.4 strokes) and green hit rate 75.6 percent, also targeted the course with accurate tee shots and iron shots on the same day. The fairway settling rate reached 78.57% 11/14 and showed off a sharp shot by raising the ball 11 times 61.11% despite the small and tricky green.

Above all, the putt shone. Kim Hyo-joo ranked first among the participating players with a 4.44 shot in the At-bats gain from putting. He made a 3-meter birdie putt on the 2nd  and 4th  and added a tee shot to the inside of the pin 1m on the 5th  to reduce another stroke. After dropping an 8m birdie putt on the 8th hole, he was on par with Lin Si-wi, who was leading the game alone, but lost his stroke and came down from the lead as his second shot on the 9th hole fell into a bunker next to the green.

Kim Hyo-joo, who continued her par march with several chances and crises until the 16th hole in the second half, took the lead once again with a birdie at a distance of 6 meters on the 17th hole. After the game, Kim Hyo-joo said, There were several crises in the second half, and I was able to block them with par every time, adding, I think my confidence has risen because I performed well on the first day.

Yoo Hae-ran, who ranks first in the Rookie of the Year points this season, tied for third with Hataoka Nasa (Japan) and amateur Aene Donnegan Ireland by hitting three under par with five birdies and two bogeys. Yoo Hae-ran was sluggish in the majors, tied for 56th at the Chevron Championship in April this year and eliminated the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship cut, but she started cruising in this tournament and inflated expectations for her best individual major performance.

Yang Hee-young and Lee Jung-eun tied for ninth 2 under par, followed by Shin Ji-ae, who visited the US Women’s Open for the first time in a long time, tied for 13th. Shin Ji-ae, who had ranked No. 1 in the world in the past, competed for the lead at three under par until the seventh hole in the second half of the day, but it was regrettable to see a double bogey on the eighth hole. Jeon In-ji is tied for 21st  with defending champion Lee Min-ji Australia.

Ko Jin-young, the world’s No. 1 player, tied for 124th and took a heavy step. Park Min-ji, who boasts 18 wins on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association KLPGA Tour, tied for 101st with Lee So-mi, while Lee Da-yeon tied for 29th and performed the best among KLPGA Tour players.
