What kind of e-Bikes are they?

The following categorizations are primarily applicable in the US. Remember that it would be prudent to check local laws to see whether some classes of eBike sharing bike routes or other heavily populated places are prohibited. The three categories for eBikes are as follows:

Class 1 e-Bikes

A Class 1 e-Bike has pedal assistance (no throttle) and can’t help at speeds over 20 mph. Still, they typically lack a throttle, providing the rider with pedal assistance.

However, as indicated earlier, most manufacturers either provide customers the choice to buy a throttling system or equip all of their motorcycles with one. Nevertheless, obtaining a class 3 motorcycle without a throttle might be difficult.

From One Class to Another Shift

Some bicycles are available that can be transferred between courses.
