Delta Names Chawasen Artist For New Casino Mural

Late last week, Delta announced it would hold Chawasen artist Gary Neh responsible for painting murals for the new Cascade Casino Delta. 릴게임 The mural is 150 square meters tall, and Gateway Casino & Entertainment’s gaming facility will be grandly opened this fall.

After previous delays, the gaming company shared that Cascade Casino Delta will finally debut later this summer. The casino will have a premium gaming floor with more than 500 slot machines, 18 live table games and stadium-style games. It will greatly boost Delta’s economy and provide 600 new stable jobs in the region.

According to Delta, the new 150 square meters of unique artwork will be placed at the lower entrance of the new casino. Mr. Ney is a self-taught artist and his work provides a unique interpretation of his environment, described by the administration as thoughtful, with a great sense of play, a sense of humor, and visual intelligence in press releases.

Tanya Gabara, Director of Gateway Casino and Entertainment Public Relations, said the company wanted a local artist for the job. She explained that when the company started looking for interesting artwork, Mr. Nay immediately suited the description to revitalize the cascade brand. His work can be seen throughout the village, including the public murals of the village of radner, the chawasen town centre mall and several schools.

At the launch, the casino operator elaborated that the Cascade brand was centered on surrounding local elements and natural themes. The company noted that designers have chosen nature’s signals and redefined them to find playful aspects. It described the design as casual and giving customers a place to relax, play, or enjoy live shows.

The new Delta Casino represents a CA$99.3 million investment in the local economy and creates more than 600 jobs for locals. Under the contract, 10% of the property’s net game revenue will be sent to Delta and, according to expectations from the British Columbia Lottery Company, this will be between CA$2.5 million and CA$3 million per year.

To fill hundreds of possible positions, Gateway Casino & Entertainment announced last week that it will host five direct job fairs. The event will be held on August 16, 18, 23, 24, and 25 at the Delta Chamber of Commerce at 62060th Street. Recruitment dates for the remaining three days will focus on food and beverage, dealer, security and casino operating vacancies.

Since the announcement of the project in 2018, its construction and launch have been hampered several times. It was supposed to open in early 2020, but it didn’t happen because of the unprecedented situation. This is because the province has implemented strong health and safety protocols and has shut down all game facilities across BC for a while.
