World-renowned skill trainer Bob Willett highlights

Wonju DB invited coach Bob Willett, a famous skill trainer, for a week from July 3 for skill training. Coach Bob is a world-class skill trainer who has conducted skill training for 19 years and has conducted skill training in various countries such as NBA, Japan, and Canada. 스포츠토토

The DB team, which met on the 5th, warmed up with basic stretching and warm-up training. The first training was layup training with coach Bob. He also conducted dribbling training. It was a dribble that bounced strongly from a low posture and a dribble that endured opposing pressure. The first to finish was Ethan Albano. Since then, guard players such as Park Chan-hee and Lee Joon-hee have also finished dribbling training.

Since then, he has begun full-fledged training. It was coach Bob who taught pull-up jumpers after a momentary turnaround. In addition, he carefully guided every step of the players.

The DB team, which had a little break, also practiced a three-point shot that went to the corner after the cut-in movement. I also made some bets for fun. First, the team that scored 10 three-point shots won. The defeated team did ten push-ups. After completing free throw training, the team completed the third day of skill training with free throw training.

Coach Bob said, “The class lasted three days. At first, the players had a hard time. Still, as time went by, the players also adapted. It’s definitely gotten a lot better.”

He then emphasized to the players, “Why do you play basketball, what you want to achieve, and how you want to achieve it?” before training. I thought that was the most important thing. The team seems to be aware of this and playing basketball now, he added.

“There are two days left,” coach Bob said after completing the third day of training. The rest of the time will create a real game-like situation. One-on-one, two-on-two, and three-on-three training will be conducted in various situations. At the same time, I will review what I did before,” he said, along with future plans.

So how did the squad feel about skill training? Kang Sang-jae said, “It’s my first time training.” I was worried because it was my first time. Because my skills are not good. But it was so much fun. Teaching is also delicate. I think I’ve learned a lot,” he said.

Lee Joon-hee also said, “It is actually the first time to do skill training during the off-season. At first, I thought I would do something fancy, but I am doing something that is more basic than I thought but can be used in practice. “I have a lot of desire to make everything I learned mine,” he said, expressing his feelings about conducting skill training.

Park Chan-hee said, “I’ve only been training my physical strength. Then, I touched the ball after a long time. It’s harder because I’m raising my senses and using muscles that I didn’t use, but it seems to help a lot. And the coach is really delicate. He evaluated skill training, saying, “You create various situations and let me find a way in them.”
