Consider treating your child to a nicely adorned cake once a year on their birthday. Think of getting your kid the most creatively designed birthday cake he could possibly want. The joy it will provide to your child on their special day is priceless.
For your child’s birthday party this year, why not surprise and delight guests with a creatively designed cake? Baking a sheet cake and decorating it with store-bought items is an option if you don’t want to make a birthday cake from scratch or don’t have the time to do so.
There is a wide variety of options for birthday cake designs. Pick party decorations that fit in with the overall concept. Most birthday parties have some sort of balloon theme, thus many mothers choose cakes with that design.
To make a balloon cake, simply bake a sheet cake, let it cool, then frost it before storing it in the fridge. Use colored frosting to decorate cookies and set them atop your cake. Put the cookies in an attractive pattern. The balloon cake can then be embellished with frosting dripping from the strings.
You may even go for a Jurassic Park-themed cake. Volcanoes and dinosaurs, both of which may be purchased at any number of retail outlets, will serve as the decorations. Make a cake and dye the frosting to match the theme. In this fashion, you may arrange your volcano and dinosaur props on a makeshift landscape of water and land.
Those children who have an interest in animals will also like the farm park setting. It’s particularly ideal if the birthday bash is being held in a more rural setting. Applying colored icing to a cooked cake is one option for making a cake with a farm theme. Doing so will result in a finished ground ornament. Then, arrange the various toy animal sets and set up a brown interlocking fencing design to complete the farm setting.
There are also some film-related ideas to consider. The birthday cake decorations can include the kid’s favorite heroes or cartoon characters. Toy story figures are a common choice for decorations in this style. Small toys from the toy store are another option for decorations. You can also design patterns for the cake’s frosting and finishing touches.
