The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has suspended AS Roma coach Mourinho from four European matches next season for verbally abusing referee Taylor after the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League final.
The Europa League final between Rome and Sevilla was won by Sevilla after a penalty shootout, causing Mourinho the pain of being the first runner-up in the UEFA tournament. And Mourinho clearly expressed his dissatisfaction by complaining about referee Taylor’s game management and chasing him to the parking lot and verbally abusing him.
